With JAWS in reading mode, describe how JAWS behaves when performing task "Navigate both forward and backward into and out of the checkbox group."
Test instructions
- Restore default settings for JAWS. For help, read Configuring Screen Readers for Testing.
- Activate the "Open test page" button below, which opens the example to test in a new window
- Verify the Virtual Cursor is active by pressing Alt+Delete. If it is not, turn on the Virtual Cursor by pressing Insert+Z.
- Navigate both forward and backward into and out of the checkbox group.

Success Criteria
To pass this test, JAWS needs to meet all the following assertions when each specified command is executed:
- Role 'group' is conveyed
- Group name 'Sandwich Condiments' is conveyed
- Group boundaries at start and end of group are conveyed
